Equinox SST Expandable Serial Adapters provide an easy, manageable and cost-effective way to attach up to 128 serial devices to a single bus slot in your server. These SST Expandable adapters are available in 64 and 128-port models. For local or clustered connections, mix and match any combination of port modules, RS-232 or RS-422 with either DB-25 or RJ-45 connectors. You can also daisy chain Equinox Port Modules to your server via a Host Controller.
Equinox intelligent expandable subsystems enable you to connect 64 to 128 high-speed serial I/O ports to a single bus slot. Any of the following Port Modules can be used together or in any combination up to 200 feet apart: PM8-DB, PM16-DB, PM8-RJ, PM16-RJ, and PM16-422. |
